I've raised £1000 to help fund lunches for Lerang'wa school lunches in Tanzania. Each year Caterham school pays for a year's worth of lunches, including bowls.

Story

Each year we deliver food for the pupils of our partner school in Lerang'wa, Tanzania. This allows the schools to provide lunch for the children, which has lead to an increase of attendance and focus on academic study. We have been donating food to Lerang'wa for 12 years, and since the start not only has the number of people at the school increased but also the number of pupils graduating successfully and attending secondary school has been boosted. In total we wish to raise around £3000 in order to not only supply the school with enough food for the year, but also pay to provide better teaching equiptment in order to keep providing a good reason to come to school, as the children have a safe place to go during the day, as well as teaching them the basic skills to help them move on to secondary school, allowing them to have a better education.
