I've raised £1750 to help fund my trip of a lifetime to Ghana to build a classroom for a Ghanaian village school

Hello. Thank you for reading my story. My name is Ben, I am 16 years old and I'm giving up my Easter holidays in April 2019 to go on a volunteering trip to Ghana with African Adventures to build a classroom in a small Ghanaian village. African Adventures is a volunteer travel company that organises life-changing experiences for people from across the UK. They run trips for people of all ages to volunteer at one of the many community projects that they support in developing areas of Africa such as Ghana. The trip I'm going on begins April 5th and lasts for 10 days, during this trip we will not only build a classroom and have a chance to teach students, but will have the opportunity to experience many forms of Ghanaian culture. Below I have a few quotes I've taken from the African Adventure website
We fulfil the dual role of tour operator and development agency, providing a high-quality service to our volunteers, who make everything happen, whilst working closely with each partner project to help them provide better outreach services to their communities.
We make no grand claims that we are going to change the world but we know we are changing our partner projects for the better; the evidence proves it.
Next, we prepare our volunteers with as much information as possible about their forthcoming experience. This includes providing the tools they need to make a difference, whilst managing expectations of what can be achieved in a single trip. We receive no external funding and we exist thanks to our volunteers, so we strive to deliver the best possible experience for them, with an outstanding service along the way.
We are not bothered about being the biggest – we are focused on trying to be the best.
The company is very ethical in it's nature and I'm really looking forward to the trip, experiencing the cultural and seeing first hand how our help will really make a difference to the children of the village..
I've always wanted to go to Africa and this is the perfect opportunity. The aim of the trip is to educate and enhance the lives of the village children. I would really appreciate your sponsorship, and any donations, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
Once again, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my story.
