This project launched in 2020 because of the ongoing financial strain placed on families during the pandemic. Now with the cost of living continuing to rise families in the community now more than ever need the additional support.

The Christmas Box Project is now in it's 4th year and has helped over 270 families since 2020. Last year we were able to raise over £1700 and gave more than 100 boxes to some of our very deserving pupils. It is our aim, yet again, to provide Christmas Eve boxes to some of the pupils of Bellshill Academy in the hope that this will help in some small way with the financial burden of Christmas and improve the wellbeing of our pupils. This project continues to be successful because of the help of pupils, parents, staff and the Bellshill community. We have an amazing group of young people and staff running this project who will provide regular updates. We were so grateful for all the support in previous years and look forward to working with the community to run this project again.

Any help you can provide would go towards this wonderful cause and help boost the mental wellbeing of many of our pupils this festive season. We welcome people to sponsor a box (which costs £17) or donate towards the cost of a box. Any donation no matter how much will be very much appreciated and put to good use.
