I've raised £750 to Support Children’s Liver Ward 50 at LGI and Beeston Juniors Football Club

Around 10 of our coaches are walking 16 miles from our Clubhouse in LS11 to the site of our fantastic U13’s girls final in Ackworth on 21 May, in time for them to attend and support them at the game.
John is coach of the U13’s girls and at our recent team meeting, it was decided that as well as raising much needed funds to support our community club, it would be amazing to support the Children’s Specialist Liver Ward 50 at LGI who offered John and his family so much support when John’s little boy Alfie had to have a liver transplant. Amanda, Alifie‘s mum (John’s wife) basically lived there whilst Alfie had his operation and during his recovery. The ward have a wish list and we would love to be able to purchase everything on there. Alfie is now back to full strength and is very well after the operation
So, if you can support our coaches with any donations, we would
all be very grateful. All funds raise will be split 50/50 between Ward 50 and to assist with running Beeston Juniors Club to fulfil our aim of keeping subs low to allow maximum participation during what is a particularly difficult financial time for many low income families.
