Last year In April 2018 Jen was 38 weeks pregnant with her son Jack when she was diagnosed with Grade 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer, after Jack was born she went straight in for 6 months of chemotherapy and a mastectomy, then a routine scan before radiotherapy in October showed tumours in the lymph nodes in her chest and then a CT scan in January showed another in her neck.

In November Jen and Stuart were given the devastating news that her cancer was now terminal, although there is no promises she has been told maybe one or two years.

Jen has just had palliative radiotherapy on the tumours on her chest to slow down the growth as if they get too big they will stop her from breathing.

Jen and Stuart have two beautiful children, Sophie aged 9 and Jack now 11 months, and now is just about making amazing memories for these wonderful children who shouldn't have to deal with any sadness but just have lots of happiness in the coming months.

I met Jen though the Solan Conner Fawcett Family Cancer Trust. You know when you meet someone and you just instantly love them, that's how I felt about Jen, she is the friendliest, happiest, person I've met, even with everything she has going on she still makes time to help out with the charity and is always asking how everyone else is doing.

Jen is currently on sick leave from work and Stuart is on shared parental leave from his work so as you can imagine money is tight so this is why I really want to raise and an amazing amount. I have told Jen they can use the money for anything they want: Holidays, days out, everyday bills, any treatment options that may come up, this money is for the family to use how they see fit.
