Background

BD5 Masjid has been serving the Muslim community of Bradford for decades, providing a space for prayer, education, and unity. Originally established as a small gathering place for worshippers, the masjid has grown alongside its congregation, becoming a central hub for Islamic activities in the area.

In recent years, the need for expansion and modernisation has become critical to meet the increasing demand for a space that accommodates worshippers comfortably and safely. The renovation project began with the aim of transforming BD5 Masjid into a state-of-the-art facility, complete with updated infrastructure and enhanced facilities to serve the diverse needs of our growing community.

The Need for Your Support

Alhamdulillah, significant progress has been made, but much work remains. To complete this transformative project, we urgently need to raise a further £250,000. These funds will cover:

Complete internal fittings

A high-quality sound system

Modern wudhu areas

New carpets throughout the masjid

A fully operational lift for accessibility

Additional essential works
