All sports clubs should have access to an automatic external defibrillator (AED). An AED can save a precious life in an emergency where rapid response time is critical. Having an AED on the grounds of the tennis club will allow first responders to access the person in need quickly. The nearest AED in Gatley is located outside Cost Coffee in the centre of Gatley and this is too far to be of use in an emergency at the tennis club. Hence, the club wants to have it's own AED. An AED on site will also benefit the members of the Baxter Park bowls club.
