I've raised £5000 to help fund our museums, campaigning work, educational capacity, and social media presence. Charity No. 203048

Over 86 years, the Trust has protected Bath from the worst depredations of intensive development and contributed to the interpretation and enjoyment of the historic city. The COVID-19 crisis has closed the Trust’s four museums and reduced the Trust’s income to nearly zero.
We are relying on your generous donations to help ensure the day-to-day maintenance of our museums and our continued campaigning work for the protection and enhancement of Bath’s architectural historic environment. With your help, we can continue our involvement in upcoming development consultations, our professional assessment of planning applications, our promotion of high quality, sensitive design within a World Heritage site, and an increased educational presence on social media.

Thank you for your support.
TREASURING THE PAST, EMBRACING THE FUTURE
The Trust was founded in 1934 as a small pressure group, with the object of protecting the city’s unique architectural heritage. Its first action was to fight plans to pull down parts of the picturesque Georgian city to make way for a new road. The road was never built. Since this victory, the Trust has saved hundreds more listed buildings from demolition, and has successfully confronted many similar threats to the city.
Today the Trust's work involves monitoring and influencing development in Bath to ensure that change is well- managed, high quality, sensitive and appropriate to Bath’s very special interest as a World Heritage Site. We also run four well loved museums in listed buildings within the city, all focused on Georgian life and personalities.
