Update (3/4/2020): BASE and Roses is a collective formed to contribute to food security in East Bristol. We will deliver food parcels and cooked meals on request to anyone who needs. This initiative is about solidarity, not charity, with mutual aid principles at it's core. Run by volunteers on a shoestring budget, we urgently need funds to pay for fuel for delivery drivers and food for people who would otherwise be forced to go without. Please contribute what you can and share this fundraiser widely.

With sadness, but necessity, we've closed BASE for Anarchy & Solidarity in Easton's Sunday night cafe during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our Sunday night cafes and weekly bike workshops provide BASE income to pay our bills, and without these, we are concerned for the future of BASE.

Accessed by many locals, since 1995 BASE - formerly Kebele - has provided an important social space in Easton (Bristol) for the development of anarchist and radical ideas and activities, community campaigns, and international solidarity. It also provides donation based healthy meals for people.

Whilst we hope we're not closed for too long, we are initially aiming to raise enough money to pay for three months of our bills.
