I've raised £6000 to build a sensory garden on the Baltic Green.

Plans are afoot to create a sensory garden on the Baltic Green this summer, celebrating Liverpool’s links with Ukraine as the Eurovision Song Content arrives in the city. The garden, created by award-winning landscape gardener Peter Lloyd and supported by Baltic Triangle Area CIC, will feature striking planting, tranquil green space and allotment beds with seasonal vegetables.
The plan will create a sympathetic space for the public to enjoy – Liverpool’s Ukrainian community has been involved in the garden’s design, which local children will help to decorate. It will create a vibrant, attractive garden in the heart of this city centre community, but we need your support to make it happen.
The plans also feature two concrete chess tables, providing activity and a moment to relax away from the hustle and bustle.
Help us create a beautiful garden to welcome new visitors to the city, and celebrate our links with Ukrainian communities both here and abroad.
Founded in 2012, Baltic Triangle Area CIC promotes the development of the Baltic Triangle as a creative, industrious and pioneering district. It’s our aim to create a better place to work, live and visit and we’re a key connector for people coming into the area, forging links and opportunities for businesses locally.
Our vision for the Baltic Triangle is of a vibrant 15-minute neighbourhood, with an infrastructure to support its growing residential community, enabling businesses here to thrive. We envisage an active, culture-led neighbourhood which is safe, bright and sustainable; its unique flavour making it a good place to live, work and play.
