Bahasa Basudara is a free online language learning platform, provided by Moluccans who live across the globe, to improve the language skills of Moluccans across Indonesia with limited access to fluent and/or native foreign speakers.

We consist of a community of volunteers that connects Moluccans worldwide, who are helping each other by sharing experiences and knowledge. The students learn a foreign language from fluent or native speakers and in this way the tutors directly contribute to improving the language skills of young people in the Moluccas and at the same time learn about life and culture in the Moluccas itself.

We also run an English language cafe in Ambon. We hope that this will be a safe place and a hub for young people and families who want to practice their English - from broken English to native speakers.
