Story

Update 19/9/18. Bagheera is due to travel to the Uk to his new life on 27/10/18. Thank you so very much to all you wonderful people who helped make this happen. I cant tell you what a difference your support has made. Xx

Bagheera is a young male labrador who was once a happy pet in a home, but when his family no longer wanted him they turned him out on the street in Turkey to fend for himself. He hurt his foot and a kind lady took him until it healed but sadly he ended up tied up in a yard as the neighbours complained about him. Then he was taken to the shelter, which is not a nice place and his future was uncertain as noone showed any interest in helping him, but finally I found someone who would offer him a place in foster here in the UK and the lovely people in the Turkish Rescue managed to find him scared but uninjured.

So now he is safe... but I need to raise the money to pay for his rabies, blood tests for Leish and heart/lungworm, passport, place in private kennel and transport to the U.K. so he can start his new safe, happy life under the care of a Labrador Rescue, initially in foster for assessment and then in a nice home.

So, I’m selling things, making things for auction, and basically doing anything I can, including begging my friends for any spare pennies to raise the funds to help this gorgeous, young labrador to realise his chance of a loving, safe future.

This lovely young lad has had a really tough time and none of it is his fault, he’s kind, loves people and dogs, and just needs a chance which I’m determined to make sure he gets.

If all goes well he will arrive in UK in late Sept/early Oct.

Thank you so much for any help you can offer, every single penny will make a difference.
