Magnus Backstedt , ex pro cyclist is embarking upon one of the toughest endurance events in the world; the Race Across America. He is taking 7 amateur cyclists along for the ride. Building them up from keen amateurs to the point of not only competing but attempting to win the 8 person team category. Over 3000 miles, 5.5 days....ish

This challenge was conceived in 2018, the centenary year of the end of World War 1. This poignant event has encouraged the team to raise money for a number of military charities. A small thank you for the sacrifices that the men and woman of our armed forces have made and continue to make on behalf of our country.

The team has been very lucky with its corporate sponsorship, bikes and equipment have been provided by Specialized . Various other organisations have assisted with flights and freight. This leaves us in a privileged position where all fund raising can go directly to the teams chosen charities.
