I am writing this for and on behalf of my nephew Paul, his beautiful wife Sophie and their amazing family.

On Thursday 15th August at just 2 years 8 months, our perfect little angel gained his wings.

He was the most handsome, cheekiest, happiest little boy with bright blue eyes that sparkled like diamonds.

With his perfect little scrunched up nose when he smiled and infectious laughter that could melt the coldest of hearts, he kept us laughing and smiling all the time.

Alec found happiness in the simplest of things and was the partner in crime to his sister Frances, and boy were they mischief together! Their antics and laughter filled the house and it was contagious often creating a riotous racket.

In everything he encountered he showed amazement and excitement and was positively the most expressive, contented boy you would ever meet.

From the time he was born he was a super happy chunky baby who filled us all with so much love and excitement. Such a proud day for the family to have a second son to join the five girls and make the family complete.

Lamorna, Freddie, Renesmee, Arianna, Aurora, Frances and Alec were an absolute force to be reckoned with. Never have I ever known so many children to be so good, especially on family outings which Alec loved.

This super happy baby was growing into such a character, full of life and had so much love to give everyone. His cuddles were legendary and will be so missed by us all. No one has ever given such squidgy cuddles so freely and with so much feeling.

It is the wish and hope of the family to send Alec off with the most amazing funeral. We want it to be the biggest day full of all the things he loved and to provide such a send off requires not just money but people.

There will be teletubbies and dinosaurs, scooters and bikes, smoke cannons and balloons, all of the things Alec would have wanted so that we can celebrate the life of a beautiful boy gone far too soon.

It is our sincere hope that anyone who was touched by little Alec will join us on the date yet to be arranged, and that if you feel able to contribute to this fundraiser, help us to provide him with the most incredible send off from this world.

For the time being all there is left to say is thank you to everyone for their kind words, love and support during this tragic time and we look forward, in the nicest sense, to giving Alec a funeral he would have loved and enjoyed.

I have chosen to do this with the blessing of Paul and Sophie, as I want them to be able to provide everything they desire to celebrate the tragically short life of their beautiful baby boy, my great nephew. Alec was an absolute force of nature and he touched us all with his winning smile, cheeky nature and love in bundles that he gave so freely. No matter how much they would love to provide all of this themselves, with six other children to still provide for, money is not forthcoming, and it is my sincere hope that people will do all they can to not only help with the expenses but maybe even provide some form of remembrance for Alec.
