We are raising £10,000 to complete Phase 1 of the restoration of the carriage which involves the removal of asbestos from around the steam pipe beneath the carriage. This is an essential first step before we can begin the restoration of the rest of the coach.

On completion of its working life, this carriage was converted into a Camping Coach based at Dawlish Warren. The intention is to restore it as a camping coach for the use of volunteers working at the station and elsewhere on the line.
