Story
Salaam everyone ,
The ongoing violence in Gaza and Israel has an impact on hundreds of thousands of children. On October 7, there was a merciless bombardment of Gaza in response to the horrific acts in Israel. Children and families are suffering greatly as a result of violence in their lives.
There has been a significant disruption to Gaza's supply routes. Food, water, electricity, and medications are running low for families and children. Israel is continuing its ground invasion into one of the densestly populated areas on earth, and more than a million people in northern Gaza—nearly half of them children—have been given the order to evacuate south.
There aren't any safe places in Gaza right now due to the increase of violence in Rafah. Only 12 of Gaza's 36 hospitals are partially operational, while crucial infrastructure and homes are in ruins. The violence has forced almost 1.7 million people—half of them children—to flee their homes. The continuous bombing makes it difficult to establish service stations. They specifically endanger the lives of Gazans and the humanitarian workers attempting to assist them.
Along with attacks on hospitals and schools, the killing and maiming of children is a severe breach for which those responsible should be held accountable. In the midst of the most recent conflict, all parties must do everything in their power to save the lives of children. All captured children must be released right now and without conditions. The people and facilities that are vital to their survival, such as schools and hospitals, must be protected from the violence.
Children are denied an education, scared, and have been ejected from their homes. The lives and prospects of children will inevitably suffer if violence rises further. Stopping this brutality is the only way to genuinely protect the lives of children.
Nutrition screenings conducted there in January revealed that over 15% of children between the ages of six months and twenty-three months had acute malnutrition, a condition that was uncommon in Gaza prior to the ongoing conflict.
My aim is to raise money to provide resources and aid to children who are immensely suffering at the hands of israel. I am working with @unifiedforpalestine who will ensure that all money raised will go directly to people in Gaza so that they are able to distrubute these resources to help the children around them.
No Donation is not enough, every penny will help towards change. Continue to fight for an immediate ceasefire and do what you are able to do to support those suffering.
Jazakallah Khair
