Meet the guys from Newton Aycliffe Sports Club . 11 great players have signed up to "grow their Mo for Movember" these wonderful guys are wanting to raise awareness of mental health in men and break down any stigma attached to talking openly about emotions, issues and overall mental wellbeing!

The local Barber Emres Barbershop will be giving the team their 1st clean shave which is required for the 1st Movember. Emres Barbershop will also help and advise how to cultivate some tash during the month of Movember .

"Grow their MO" Challenge will last for 30 days ending 30th Movember 2019.

If we can get Men talking openly to each other we believe we can really make a change! What better forum than when you playing football with your mates, or attending your local barber shop!

All money raised will be donated to ManHealth who run FREE peer support groups across County Durham and the North East of England. These groups are open to men affected by depression and other mental health conditions to share friendship and support. All ManHealth groups are run by men with lived experience of mental ill health. These groups are designed to provide an opportunity to meet new friends, helping to end the social stigma, and loneliness of mental ill health.
