We are Aberystwyth university underwater hockey club. Our sport is a new and developing one, with growing recognition every year. However as we are not a well know sport, there is very little funding provided for us so we are at serious risk of the club closing down. In the past year we have developed as a team by coming second in UK student nationals and first place in Welsh nationals, which we are hosting this year. We wish to continue this success by keeping the team together. The donated money will go towards hiring our university pool for training purposes. We are put in this position as circumstances have changed this year in regards to funding from the sports centre.
