About us...

We are a group of students in our final year of a foundation degree in Art and Design Practice from the University of Derby. The degree is taught from Leek’s historic School of Art in Leek College. We are organising the ASTOUND 22 exhibition which will showcase our work.

About ASTOUND 22...

The ASTOUND exhibition was established in 2009 and feels even more significant this year as the exhibition offers an opportunity to reinvigorate the art scene in the town following the pandemic. The setting for the show is unique, with the original Victorian art rooms, designed in 1881 by William Sugden, being transformed into a contemporary gallery space. ASTOUND 22 will be open to the public from Friday 13th May to Saturday 28th May and provides an exhibition opportunity for upcoming artists to who will go on to enrich the thriving art scene in Leek and the surrounding area.

Your donation will help us to promote ASTOUND 22, produce an exhibition brochure, and ensure that we are able to produce a professional art exhibition that is free at the point of entry to all members of the town and local community.
