Atlanticr2r is made up of two life long friends, Tom (veteran) and Paul (still serving) who represent the Armed Forces comunity in this endeavour, and Richard and Jordan (Father and Son) who both have a sailing background.

Although the team have varied areas of experience, the combined qualities, skills and expertise of each team member makes for an exciting, cohesive and competitive ocean rowing team, and provides an amazing opportunity to raise money and awareness for their chosen mental health organisations; Rock2Recovery and “Sailors Society”.

Both of these fantastic organisations do vital work in the mental health space and provide immediate and continuing support and assistance to our current serving and veteran community as well as our 999 services. This is something particularly close to the hearts of Tom and Paul, who have lost friends and colleagues that struggled and were unable to overcome their battle with mental health Issues.

As well as Rock2Recovery, we are also raising funds and awareness for the Sailors Society, who dedicate thier efforts to the care and well being of seafarers around the world. They have have a long history and have consistently supported seafares and their familes for 200 years. Sailors Society are available 24/7, providing support and well being services, crisis response and a helpline Which can be accessed anywhere in the world.

We are thankful to you for helping us in our cause and following our journey as we take on this epic adventure for these fantastic organisations.
