I've raised £20000 to support 5 worthy charities by rowing 3200 miles across the Atlantic in January 2024.

In January 2024 Sergeant Phil Angus, Sergeant Dan Martin, Corporal Gary Binns and Corporal Justin Wallace of the RAF Regiment, will be rowing 3200 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from Lanzarote to Antigua, pushing the boundaries of what’s physically and mentally possible!
Taking part in this challenge will not only require an insane level of physical fitness and endurance, but an extremely high level of mental resilience and a constant will to succeed throughout the 40+ days in this unknown and arduous environment. We truly believe overcoming challenges throughout life, whether it be a physical or mental challenges, enhances you as an individual and allows you to grow as a person.
We will be raising money for 5 fantastic charities in the process, The Centurion Fund, The Veterans Charity, Mental Health Research UK, Tough Enough to Care and SSAFA, all of which are extremely close to our hearts and we each have our own specific reasons for choosing these charities.
Note - The final amount raised will be split evenly between the 5 charities. We have also agreed that anyone who donates over £25 will have their name displayed on the boat for the duration of the crossing.
Please follow our Atlantic Rocks Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages for regular updates on our progress in the build-up to the event and during the event!
We are extremely excited to take part in this challenge and are delighted to have you on board supporting ourselves and these 5 amazing charities. From all of the Crew, Thank you!
