All too often the older generation are left out of community activities, they may have mobility issues, and lack confidence, have no transport, and often have a deep fear of going out and socialising.

As we are now beginning to come out of the covid -19 pandemic the older generation are struggling more than ever with feelings of anxiety, and isolation loss of confidence and physically a loss of mobility, many have lost their daily routine which has a real impact on their mental wellbeing.

Aston & Cote Day Centre will provide a safe, warm environment for seniors to come to once a week, where new friendships are made and old ones renewed, so it will help to bring back a sense of belonging within the community where they can make positive connections, and have the choice of joining in with various activities all designed to stimulate and encourage, or if preferred simply sit and chat and catch up with their friends, with a nutritional freshly cooked 2 course lunch provided on the day.

Aston & Cote Day Centre is a not-for-profit, - Community Interest Company (CIC), registered at Companies House. Company Number:13653748. Established in 2021, we are looking to raise money to ensure the set up and ongoing costs of the Day Centre as it eventually becomes self funding. The £1500 goal will go towards the insurance for the centre, general marketing materials and a bingo machine alongside other general necessities to ensure we can make the day centre the best it can be.
