Story

Our dearest father Ashwin Shah was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease little under a year ago, he sadly passed away on 31st January with the loving presence of his family.

Our father was a fiercely independent person, he was a pillar to our Jain community, his love, friendships and support for others extend across the world.

Despite MND taking away his physical independence, he stayed committed to his work and community, he continued to support others where he could.

The services involved in his care were amazing, their support helped us through as the disease progressed. MND is a disease that is uncontrollable and unpredictable. Research into MND is vital into helping to reason it and one day control it.

We would like to raise money to donate to two charities to enable them to continue the support they provide to people diagnosed with MND and to contribute towards research.

1. UCLH charities

2. MND Association
