Ashby Sport was launched in March 2021 to harness the power of collaboration between different sports clubs and associations in the local area. Since then, the initiative has grown to comprise 40 organisations with a very simple objective - to increase participation and engagement in sport. In 2022 the Fun Day attracted an estimated 3,500 people of all ages.

Ashby Sport is run in partnership with Ashby de la Zouch Town Council. Costs are currently covered by the generous support of the council and our sponsors. As a result, all events are free to both participating clubs and the community.

In order to create a more sustainable model and run other planned events and initiatives, Ashby Sport has launched a JustGiving page. In the interests of transparency and accountability, all donations and fundraising activity is audited by Ashby de la Zouch Town Council. Details of which are available for inspection at any time.

To kick start our fundraising campaign, Helen and Kenny Horn are taking on the National 3 Peak Challenge of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon over 3 days in August. Any donations, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.
