Many of you will be aware of the sad news that Arvind Verma died on Sunday 1st April. Under Arvind’s leadership Aimil have become our largest channel partner and helped India to become the 4th largest territory globally in terms of number of systems sold. The 13th day (Terahvin) is the final day of mourning, with all Aimil offices organising some good works to mark the day. In Chennai, for instance, staff served lunch at an old people’s home, whilst in Calcutta the same was done in a cancer hospital. In recognition, we would like to announce that we will be giving those of you that knew and respected Arvind the chance to do something meaningful in his memory. Arvind was a great believer in advancement through education and helping people to realise their full potential. We hope to collect money to support causes similar to those supported today. Malvern Panalytical has agreed to match all donations made by MP employees, so together we can make a difference to the charities our friend and colleague Arvind supported throughout his life. Our aim is to have completed this by 15th May which would have been Arvind’s 65th birthday.
