Throughout his long illness, Dad was extraordinarily well cared for by his local medical centre at Coldstream and by the team at the Macmillan Centre within the Borders General Hospital. At a time when budgets are squeezed and need is high, we would like to try to help others receive the same high level of care and relieve some of the strain on the dedicated professionals trying to treat patients in extremely difficult circumstances.
