Story

In November 2017 a very close friend of ours found a lump in her breast at the age of 32. Just 1 week after finding the lump she was told the devastating news that she had breast cancer. In January 2018 she had a lumpectomy and by February was undergoing her chemotherapy treatment which was then followed up in April by 4 weeks of daily radiotherapy sessions. Although Jo is currently in remission, she still has really tough days health wise after having chemotherapy where she is in pain and has to take pain relief daily to help her, she is currently having scans to see what is causing the pain. She suffers with anxiety and her mental health due to the trauma she has been through. She has to now take a tablet called Tamoxifen which is a cancer hormone treatment daily until 2028.

In November 2018 Jo held her first Unmask Cancer charity ball where she wanted to help raise money for the particular cancer charities who had been helping her, her partner Sean and their 3 children, Casey, Milan & Kyle through her diagnosis and treatment as a family. This is something that Jo became very passionate about and will be holding her 5th annual Unmask Cancer Charity ball this November. Jo is hoping that she can raise enough money this year so that she can start to make chemo packs for people who are going through chemotherapy just to bring a momentarily smile to that persons face.

This is where Arrone would like to step in and help... This November Arrone has set himself a challenge of 100 push ups a day through the whole of November. He will be doing them at work, the gym, at home, in restaurants, at the charity ball and who knows where else...if you know Arrone how we all know him then anything is possible with him! Videos and photos will be taken and uploaded through the challenge. Please follow @unmaskcancer on Instagram.

Please show your support in donating as little or as much as you can so that Arrone can support Unmask Cancer in the first of many challenges he will be doing to help them raise money. We all sadly know someone who has been affected by cancer or have sadly lost someone we love to the disease.

Unmask Cancer & Arrone would like to thank you in advance for your support x
