Hi! My name is Arlo, i’m a 22 year old trans man (he/him) hoping to save enough money to medically transition!

I’m choosing to go through this process privately due to the extremely long waiting lists on the NHS. Transitioning would mean the absolute world to me but i‘m learning that I won’t be able to afford it myself. The most expensive sector of my transition will be my top surgery (the surgical removal of breast tissue). This would be a truly life changing surgery for me, that would help me conquer my gender dysphoria and allow me to feel comfortable in my own skin.

In the meantime I’m having to bind everyday all day, in order to feel confident enough to get through the day. Wearing a binder restricts my ability to do certain activities without discomfort due to the compression against my body/chest. Binding long term can also be damaging to your chest and ribs. Top Surgery would change my life entirely.
