Story

Having been through a tough time in the last couple of years our little superstar Arianna wants to raise some money for the children’s ward where she was treated, to, as she put it, ‘make people happy’.

Arianna has pledged to walk 40 miles in July, a tough challenge for her little legs!

When Arianna was two and a half she was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia. This meant that her hip balls were not in their sockets where they should have been.

As she was not diagnosed until she was 2 this meant she had to have two 6-hour surgeries to correct this. Following that both her hips and legs were in plaster for almost four months. When they were removed she then had to learn to stand and walk all over again.

She‘s a very determined 4 year old and has never given up, she now loves going to dancing, gymnastics and all the other things little girls should be enjoying.

Arianna was very well looked after by everyone in Ninewells and wants to say a big thank you and make sure other children get access to all the things she did to help her through her many visits there.

Anything you can give will be very greatly appreciated by Arianna and the ward.

Thank you
