Story
Ardee 2 Armagh
Charity Run in Aid of Children's Cancer Services
Kevin Toner (Cullyhanna) and I (Francie McMullen), will run from Ardee, Co. Louth to Armagh City. The 75.9 km Run will begin in DEFY Pairc Mhuire at 7am on Sat 27th Jan and finish at the Box-IT Athletic Grounds in Armagh before the Allianz League Div. 2 fixture between Armagh & Louth at the same venue at 6pm that same evening.
We have chosen 2 Childrens Cancer Charities to benefit from the fundraiser, One in the North, and One in the South. Those charities are:
Childrens Cancer Unit Charity in the RVH ( https://childrenscancerunit.com/ )
Childhood Cancer Ireland ( https://childhoodcancer.ie/ )
(Information on both can be found in the links provided)
The Run will see us stop at several GAA Clubs along the way, if people wish to support the cause, or complete a leg of the route
Those clubs are in Tallonstown, Louth Village, Inniskeen, Shealagh, Crossmaglen, Silverbridge, Cullyhanna, Newtownhamilton, Armaghbreague (Granemore), Keady and finish in the Box-IT Athletic Grounds in Armagh City.
Where possible we have supplied the name of the designated club contact for each of the clubs above. Where a club contact has not yet been agreed feel free to contact myself on (087 3741984) if you wish to take on a part of the run.
