Story
24hr Team Cycle Fundraiser around Gravelfoyle
The Adaptive Riders Collective CIC are raising funds to purchase an off-road electric assist handcycle and to fund the development of our activities to allow disabled riders to get out riding with other adaptive and non-disabled riders and enjoy the beautiful forest routes and trails that Scotland has to offer.
The Adaptive Riders Collective is a community interest company with it's core goal of making off-road adaptive cycling available to more people and to build a community focused on access, inclusion and integration to the mainstream cycling world.
Our first goal is to get the equipment needed to allow for this to happen. To do this we are running a team 24hr cycle as a way of kickstarting the CIC's plans so we can order equipment and have it in time for delivering activities in Spring 2024. This will involve local riders and friends riding in a relay, continuously for 24hrs around the Gravelfoyle routes in the Queen Elizabeth Forest during the weekend of the 1st/2nd July 2023.
Any support, donations and spreading the word about what we are doing would be such a big help.
