Story
Kilimanjaro is referred to as the 'The Roof of Africa,' for being the highest free standing mountain in the world; its peak being 5895 metres.
I must raise £1500 on here and a further £1000 from door to door donations and other fundraising ideas etc.
My goal is to look out across the rolling clouds, with Tanzania stretched out till the eye can see; with the achievement of a seven day trek scaling down the mountain beneath me. This achievement will have raised invaluable funds and awareness for local children living in poverty. It will also provide vital education; helping to build and maintain schools. Alongside, it will benefit crucial wildlife conservation projects and safer local living conditions.
Many of the Tanzanians who work on Mount Kilimanjaro as porters, guides and cooks are often left with no option but to work in dangerous conditions to earn money for their families and survival. This sad reality can result in death.

We will be partnering with the world renowned Born Free Foundation for this climb; raising awareness for their continuous battle with Animal Rights around the world. Born Free have inspiring projects running locally in Tanzania and Kenya. They represent true commitment to such crucial matters experienced in this world every day.
• To see Kilimanjaro's glaciers, which scientists predict will be gone in the next 10-15 years, due to global warming.
• To see the unique life forms only found in these few habitats of high altitudes.
• The marking of an incredible personal accomplishment which I will document after the climb on the instagram @anya_aspiring.
Please, join me in this attempt to bring help and awareness to the animals and humans living in unimaginable conditions, by donating now.
Thank you so much,

I am 16, and an aspiring actress. I want to tie in this aspiration with various charities and organisations along the way. One of which, close to my heart; is the Born Free Foundation. I hope to raise awareness for their continuous battle with Animal Rights around the world.
