It all started with Shaun Utting mentioning that he was going to challenge himself to do 25 challenges in 2025. This sparked something in us, and we thought why don’t we try to raise £25,000 in 2025 and get everyone involved.

It sounds like a lot but by getting everyone involved we think it is achievable, as the great George Mallory said:

“It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.”

As part of the Benefact Group, a family of financial services companies that gives all its available profits to charities and good causes, charity giving is why we do what we do.

We have been working behind the scenes coming up with loads of events for everyone from knitting little hats to running marathons and a charity football match. Shaun is leading the way with 25 different events in 2025 with a mixture of running, walking and physical challenges.
