I've raised £1000 to help support the work of 'Dog's against Drugs Shetland' with our backpacking trek across England on Wainwright's coast to coast hike.

Here we are again, on the 19th of May myself Angie Thompson & my long suffering friend Jacqui Dow are taking on the famous Alfred Wainwright's Coast to Coast hike.. just short of 200 mile, the trek takes us across England from st Bee's on the Cumbrian coast working our way through Cumbria's fells, Yorkshire dales & moors to Robin Hood's Bay on Yorkshire's coast.
We are backpacking this trip, a tent is our home for the 2.5 week's except for one day we get a well earned rest day in a shepherd's hut.
Our cause to help keep us motivated .......
Dog's against Drugs Shetland, a registered Scottish charity & community led project was established in 2002 by locals of Shetland.
Their aim is to help safeguard the islands from the issue of illegal drug's. Delivering drug education & awareness to local schools, businesses & organisations throughout Shetland as well as assisting Police Scotland with any jobs that these skilled dogs can help with.
As some of the dogs reach retirement, there comes the expense involved with recruiting new members to the dog squad.
I hope you will agree this is such a worthy cause for Shetland & it's community.
Please help us support Dog's against Drugs Shetland with this fundraiser to keep us motivated on our Coast to Coast backpacking trip.
