I'm raising £750 to support community of stranded boaters

Unfortunately I am now having to close this Just Giving Page due to the fact I am under extreme pressure with our boats being on their sides, and also the unkind and rude comments made by fellow boaters outside the area and people who are not members of the boating community.
To all the lovely people who have donated, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and kind words, we will be using this money to fuel the commercial generator which is keeping our boats warm and lights on, once again many thanks. 🫶
I'm raising £750 for social welfare
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
There are a group boats stranded on Bridgewater Canal, which has breached its banks in Dunham Massey. This has been shown on all news channels.
I would like to raise funds for these fellow boaters who are stranded on the boats and the canal has been drained and we are sitting on the bottom and all listing badly and could be like this for a few months.
Some are elderly and with health problems, as a community we are trying our best to help each other out with shopping, getting coal and generally just try to keep ourselves warm as we have no facilities here and mainly to keep morale up.
Any donation would be gratefully appreciated so we can carry out the good cause and keep these people warm and fed.
