Thank you so much for all of your donations, we're nearly there! 

Over the past few weeks, we've cooked and packed over 10,000 meals to be delivered right to the doors of those who need it most. Together with our charity partner Made in Hackney, we're now on track to provide a staggering 34,080 meals by mid-June.

Two thirds of the emergency meals are feeding Hackney households at risk of going hungry, with the remaining daily meals being sent to Hackney Migrant Centre and multiple homeless shelters in our community.

We've so far upped our capacity to 500 meals a day and could go further with enough support.You can help us by donating and/or sharing this page, any help is hugely appreciated!

100% of the proceeds go into making these meals and keeping our staff employed.

We want to turn our skills to helping the community of Hackney during the coronavirus crisis where necessary. We will make food to help the homeless, the vulnerable and the isolated during these difficult times.

We are working alongside local charity Made in Hackney to distribute 300 meals a day to the most vulnerable in the area.

With your donations we will be able to pay our utilities and running costs, support our staff and also buy more ingredients to feed more people. With the size of our kitchen and our skills we think we can feed more than this number.

There is still an unknown element to the size of the task so we want to prepare to be as useful as is needed. We have the capacity to make more than 1000 meals per day at a cost of 90p per meal.

We are maintaining utmost health standards in the kitchen - with policies introduced to minimise the risk of our work.

To maintain social distancing, where possible we will distribute our food on bikes or it will be available to collect outside our premises. We are open to suggestions on logistics and would happily partner with other community organisations and initiatives.

All donations will go towards ingredients and keeping our staff cooking and distributing. If we do not meet a threshold to start feeding people, we will forward any donations to our community charity partner Made in Hackney.
