On the 11th June, we lost our friend Andrew Paterson. Andy was much loved by everyone he came into contact with. A great husband, brother, son and a devoted Motherwell fan.

In the aftermath of Andy's passing, it has been incredible to hear of the stories of the lengths Andy would go to in relation to help his fellow 'Well fans, whether that be buying programmes for exiled fans, assisting in setting up the Exiles Club for the Well Society, moderating on Steelmen Online and offering up his well rounded views on the MFC Podcast.

For the 2021/22 season, we hope to honour Andy by sponsoring a member of the Motherwell first team squad in his name. Should we raise over the target amount, we will donate the money to the 'Well In' scheme which offers free season tickets to the unemployed and low-income families in and around North Lanarkshire.
