I'm raising £16,000

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. 60,000 members please help turn this negative into a positive 🙏🏻

When I became a single parent my working hours became hugely disrupted forcing me onto a benefit to top up my wages each week. As many of you know I have helped many people and businesses on the Isle of Man for decades not only with my Facebook group but with my trade working for free or at cost to fill in the day and help others. Doing this has bit me in the backside big time. Not realising in the small print that all work paid and unpaid must be declared when you are claiming benefit. I'm now left in a position where I have to pay it back. It's not like I was faking a bad back and working for cash on the side 🤷🏼‍♂️. Even though it was proven I never worked for profit they still insisted I broke the rules which hands up I accidentally did. I want to turn this negative into a positive. We have 60,000 members in this group so even if everyone paid a pound we would raise plenty of money to get me out of the hole I've dug myself with the government and the courts and also raise a substantial amount for some local charities which we can choose through discussions on the group at the right time. I really hope everyone can help 🙏🏻
