Story

Help us to build a place for the future.... We have been building our zoo now for the past four years. It has become a popular place for families and for schools to visit. Over the last year we have been putting plans together to build a British Conservation area within our zoo. This area will be the keystone to our school educational visits as well as being open throughout the year for the public to visit. Many zoos do great work with charismatic animals, such as elephants and lions but we here at the Fbc Project believe that there are many people today that have never seen a Red Squirrel, Scottish Wild Cat or a Barn Owl that are all native to us here in Britain. Our plan is first to open up peoples minds and educate them in the wildlife around us and get them involved. Secondly, we want to work with other zoos on breeding programmes with animals such as Red Squirrels and Scottish Wild Cats, protecting their future. We have a great team of volunteers here at the Fbc Project and 100% of the funds will go to material costs, NOT LABOUR. As a thank you to anyone who donates on this page we will enter all names into a draw at the end of January 2019 and the first 5 names we draw will be invited to dinner with their partner here with us and be given a private tour behind the scenes to meet some of the animals we look after. We would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and for your ongoing support. Regards Andy
