Story
I am writing and illustrating a seven-book series to build the confidence and self-esteem of young children and I need your support to achieve this.
Mental health problems affect 1 in 10 children and young people - Mental Health Foundation
The need to address low self-esteem, anxiety, lack of confidence and mental health issues within our young has never been greater. Canterbury Christian Schools Work Trust has been working for many years in primary and secondary schools tackling this. They have highlighted the growing demand for supporting younger children before these issues take root. I am developing a book series to form the basis of a new seven-week Confidence For Life programme.

The production of this Confident Rhymers book series will take hundreds of hours of my time in brainstorming, researching, story-boarding, writing, editing, illustrating, road-testing and publishing. Further time will be required to develop a Confidence For Life course to be delivered in schools. Your generous support will enable me to devote the time needed to complete this invaluable project.

The book series will positively impact the lives of hundreds of children in helping them know they are loved. Children will learn to celebrate the unique gifts and talents they have. They will be empowered to share their feelings and worries confidently. By the end of the book series and course the children will know how special and awesome they are.
