Story
During the upcoming October half term I will be cutting off 10 inches of my hair and donating this to the little princess charity. This charity creates wigs for children who have sadly lost their hair, mainly due to cancer treatment. I am hoping to raise £200 in sponsorship for doing this, which I will be using for a World Challenge trip I am going on to Cambodia and Laos in 2017. Whilst out there, me and my team of fellow students will be helping out with a community project - we have asked for this to be in a school but it could be anything from helping with disabled children to building something for the agriculture, to refurbishing a local school. (our project will be confirmed nearer the time). Both Cambodia and Laos are extremely poor countries with high levels of poverty - particularly Laos. By doing this project, I believe that we could potentially be changing someones life; whether it be providing them with somewhere to learn and therefore giving them an education or giving them the opportunity to grow a substantial crop each year. I will be extremely grateful for any donation not matter how small - it will all help so much. Thank you for spending the time looking at my page, and please, give what you can.
