Story

As many of you will know on Monday 25th May 2020 our beautiful daughter Amelia Rose passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest at just 9 days old from a Rare heart condition which hadnt been picked up. When this happened we were in the Resusitation room at Lincoln Hospital & remained between there and a little room with a few chairs to say our final goodbyes. For us we felt that it wasnt a nice or suitable enviroment to do this. So I have been in contact with Lincoln Hospital for them to provide a suitable room to have a double bed, sofa, tea & coffee making facilities for all parents to use. This room would be decorated with pastel colours & made into a calming place with less of a hospital feel for the parents to lay on the bed, hold, spend time with their child for the last time. No parent should ever have to go through the pain of loosing a child and if this makes the experience easier in any way I want to be able to provide that in Amelias memory. So please for anyone that says they want to help ease the pain, this is a way that you can do that for so many future cases of still born, infant loss or child loss parents.
