Dunoon Community Council are working to improve the play areas in the West Bay. We have been allocated funds from the Scottish Governments ‘Renewing Scotland’s Play Parks Scheme’ to refurbish the surface and railings of the Play Park.

We are trying to raise funds to purchase new play equipment alongside the refurbishment, that is assessable to all. We are looking for funding to instal a wheelchair accessible roundabout, an accessible seesaw, communal seating and other play equipment if funds allow.

The aim is to create a communal area that can grow and adapt to the changing needs of the community and be accessed by all ages, with the hope of creating an inclusive space that can be used for years to come.

We need the help of the local community to achieve this.
