On the 5th of December, staff and directors from the Altrincham FC Community Sports Company will undertake a sponsored walk in order to raise funds for both The Christie Hospital and the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.

Setting off at 9.30 am from the J. Davidson Stadium the group will walk a total of 8.3 miles, with the final destination being Stockport County FC.

The money collected through this fundraising walk will be going towards purchasing Christmas presents for the children at the respective charities. Once purchased, the community will wrap and deliver the gifts in time for the Big Day!

It is a sad truth that many children will spend their Christmas this year in a hospital and by contributing to the fundraising effort you will be helping to cheer them up and bring some joy into their festive period!

Christmas is a special time for all - so let's do our best to ensure that all the patients at The Christie and the children residing at CAFT have an extra special day this year!
