To all who helped raise for the new carpet for the women's section in Al-Rahma Mosque, Liverpool, I would like to say a huge big thank you. Not only did we raise for the carpet, but we also managed to paint the whole of the Masjid.

We now have a big project that we want to raise for. We hope to extend the stairway in the women's section and also place an elevator in the women's entrance as we have many elderly ladies and women with disabilities who struggle up the stairs to the first floor. This project will involve a lot of structual building work. The estimated costs we have been quoted are in excess of £150,000. I know it sounds incredible but I believe we can do it as a community if we all contribute what we can. Remember this is 'sadaga jariyah ' which will benefit us in this life and the next.

Let’s make the most of this opportunity and come together as one community, in these last 10 blessed nights of Ramadan, to benefit from the multiple rewards to be gained. May Allah swt grant us success in making this happen.
