We continue to provide support for local sponsors and Ukrainian guests. We recently refurbished a bungalow in the village with the help of local businesses, tradesmen and community. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us achieve this. The Ukrainian family we have done this for will hopefully be joining our community next week. We couldn’t do this without the support of volunteers and financial support from your donations. Thank you!

We’re not far now from our target amount and recent donations will take us over the £10,000 mark which is incredible. We’re still look at further trips to provide supplies and a lot of focus has been making contacts to help match sponsors with refugees. It’s a frustratingly slow process I’m afraid but we’re still committed to providing help to those who need it most. Thank you again for your continued support.

We started with a target of £2,000. That moved to 4, then 8. The donations received shows the level of support from everyone. We all want to help the Ukraine & especially those displaced from their homes. I try to imagine my life being turned upside down. Grabbing essentials in a bag, leaving my family home, saying goodbye to loved ones that perhaps have to stay to fight or are too old or sick to travel. No plan as to where I will go. No guarantee of food or water or shelter. Just imagine. Please continue to share and donate whatever you can.
