The club normally holds its annual pledge auction around the end of May that makes around £6,000 profit. That has obviously not been possible this year and this has left a hole in the club’s finances.

We have had support from stakeholders to ensure the club can meet its commitments in terms of overheads. However, now that the season is underway, we must still maintain the ground and facilities to a good standard which involves significant cost. That is why we are launching this crowdfunding initiative to raise £3,000 (50% of the normal auction profit). We realise, of course, that businesses and individuals may find themselves in difficult financial circumstances at the moment so we quite understand if you’re unable to support this appeal.
