June loved Rock, she holidayed there as a child and continued the tradition with her own family. In her memory, we would love you to help us raise funds for CEYS (Camel Estuary Youth Sailing) a small charity set up in 2006 with the aim of teaching local children to sail. Every summer CEYS recruits 9-11 year olds from local schools and provides them with an extensive course of free professional RYA lessons at Camel Sailing & Powerboat Centre, to the point that they reach RYA Stage 3, becoming confident and qualified sailors.

In 2022 CEYS funded lessons for 30 children, mostly Year 7’s from Wadebridge School, enabling the group to take to the water for the first time through the CEYS programme, and then progress over the season.

It costs around £15,000 to keep teaching this number of children annually so lets help them raise this.
