I've raised £500 to Help pay for hot meals during August when many Liverpool children are hungrier without the benefit of school meals.

Children in Liverpool are increasingly going hungry to bed. August is a month in which children may have access to even fewer meals, due to it being the school holidays. In solidarity, I am skipping my evening meal and going to bed hungry for the whole of August. You can join me and donate the average cost of the meal(s) you skipped or just donate. The funds raised will be split between three fantastic Liverpool charities that work hard to fight poverty through various feeding initiatives: Croxteth Gems, Liverpool Six Community Centre and Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS). "Hunger is not a problem, it is an obscenity. How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world" (Anne Frank).
