As part of my Gold pledge award at school I have been asked to organise and take part in a charity fundraising event.

I have chosen the charity of Café track in Northampton as I think the work Tom and his staff do is really important. They are a social enterprise that support people with autism into work either through training or opportunities.

Since opening in 2019 Café track has helped over 125 people into paid employment and many more into work placements.

So what am I going to do to help support Café track?

With the Olympic games opening ceremony in Paris later this year (26th July to be exact)

I have decided to cycle the equivalent distance in miles from Sharnbrook Academy to Paris. (333 miles)

So as I write this, It is 333 miles and there are 122 days until opening ceremony. Which equals nearly 3 miles per day.

This is where I am going to need your help. Alongside encouragement when you see me out cycling, I’m asking you to please sponsor me on my journey. I will be making regular updates which I will upload my Facebook event and on some weekends go live. if you would like to follow my progress. But I am asking each of you to please sponsor me in any way that you can. I appreciate that times are tough for everyone at the moment, but whatever you can sponsor me really would mean the world to me and go towards making a difference and keep café track doing what they do so well.
